According to One Football, the legendary Manchester United boss is the manager with the most trophies in history.

The Scotsman won an impressive 49 major trophies during his career, with much of his success coming during his reign at Old Trafford.

SAF lifted the Premier League title on 13 occasions with the Red Devils, alongside two UEFA Champions League crowns and five FA Cups.

However, Guardiola has also seemingly emerged as a top manager in recent years thanks to his success with Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona.

Recently, the Spaniard helped City make history as the English club became the first in history to win the Premier League crown four times in a row.

Pep's journey has seen him compared to Fergie, with some even claiming he is better than the retired boss.

Pique 'settles' Pep vs Fergie debate

Pique recently appeared to settle the emerging debate when asked who between the two managers is the greatest of all time.

The Barca legend had the honour of playing under both managers, with the former Spain international describing Fergie as a second dad.

“I think that Barcelona had one of the biggest in history which is Pep Guardiola and Manchester United with Sir Alex Ferguson," Pique said via SPORTbible.
“Alex Ferguson was a second dad to me. He had that quality of really taking care of the young ones that were coming through," he continued.

This endorsement by the Barcelona legend seems to back up Ferguson's claim to most successful manager.

Why Guardiola is one of the best

Sports Brief also previously analysed why Guardiola is one of the best managers in the football world.

The Spaniard recently led the Citizens for a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League crown.
