According to SPORTbible, Fenerbahce are Mourinho's 11th club in his illustrious career, with the Portuguese previously enjoying stints in the Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga.

After initial links to the Premier League and the Saudi Pro League, the former Chelsea boss joined the Turkish side.

Mourinho leaves media in awe with gesture

The Special One is already making a good account of himself in Turkey, with his recent classy gesture to the local media during a Fenerbahce training session leaving fans in awe.

A video shared by journalist Sercan Hamzaoğlu on X showed Mourinho greeting the press one by one with a ‘very sincere and warm-hearted demeanour.'

The manager's gesture sparked reactions on social media, with @Yasa_Fener1907 posting:

"SPECİAL ONE JOSE MOURİNHO 💛💙"

@baybogi noted:

"He recognizes even the person who is not a journalist and asks what are you doing here."

@SinanBoyabatl added:

"You can see my coach's sincere and warm-hearted approach."

@KisaMesafeTaksi concluded:

"The moment when a dream comes true."

Despite Fenerbahce being Turkey's most successful club, they have not tasted domestic glory since 2014.

Mourinho, who signed a two-year deal with the club, will hope to end the long wait for the title.

Victor Lindelof linked with Mourinho reunion

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof reportedly set for a reunion with Mourinho at Fenerbahce.

Reports claim that a deal is already in the works to have Mourinho reunite with Lindelof at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
