'Unselfish' Ronaldo serves Fernandes with assist

Instead of taking a close-range shot himself after being put through on goal, Ronaldo opted to pass to Fernandes, who easily scored into an open net.

According to talkSPORT, the assist allowed Ronaldo to surpass Karel Poborsky as the all-time leader in assists in the history of the European Championship.

Although the Al-Nassr forward didn't score, he received widespread acclaim for his selfless play in setting up Fernandes.
