Lloyd compares Pulisic to Messi
As noted by BroBible, former United States of America player, Carli Lloyd, spoke about how the Argentinian was a generational talent like Maradona, but that others were also reaching those levels.
“There’s nobody like Messi. And I don’t think that there ever will be somebody like Messi,” she first said.
While that all seemed in order, it was Lloyd’s next statement which had many scratching their heads.
“It’s a generational talent. It’s like Maradona. And then Messi has just had that crown. But there’s other players; Jude Bellingham, Pulisic’s coming up,” she added.
