Details have emerged on how many games France superstar, Kylian Mbappe, could miss after he suffered a nasty injury during the ongoing Euros in Germany.

Mbappe was part of the France squad that took on Austria in their opening Group D match of the continental tournament on Monday evening, June 17.

However, the new Real Madrid star endured a frustrating evening, with the forward initially missing a golden goalscoring chance.

The 25-year-old was later forced off after he sustained a nose injury following a collision with Austrian defender Kevin Danso.

According to Sky Sports, Mbappe was seen with a bloodied face and shirt before he was later taken to hospital to have the extent of the injury determined.

How many games could Mbappe miss?

Fresh reports now suggest that the former Paris Saint-Germain star could be sidelined for several days.

According to RTL France via Get French Football News, Mbappe is set to be out of action for around 15 days.

Per Le Figaro, the forward is likely to be back for the knockout stage.

But whichever the case, France boss, Didier Deschamps, is sure to miss the services of his star player ahead of their next Group D fixture.

Les Bleus are scheduled to face the Netherlands on Friday, June 21, before they wind up their group stage fixtures against Poland next Tuesday.

The 2018 World Cup champions secured a 1-0 slim win in their opening game, with Maximilian Wober responsible for the goal after he directed the ball into his own net.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Adrien Rabiot delivering an injury update on Kylian Mbappe following the forward's nasty collision on Monday night.

Considering the extent of Mbappe's injury, many feared the forward's Euro campaign had all but ended.
