The 25-year-old returned to social media for the first time since the rant but didn’t apologise for his actions.
Instead, as reported by Soccernet.NG, he updated his story to wish Odion Igalho a happy birthday.
He also shared a photo with former French star Louis Saha.
How Osimhen bashed George
The Nigerian striker upset many when he took to Instagram to have a go at the Super Eagles boss.
Reacting to quotes wrongly attributed to George, Osimhen stated that he never faked an injury to avoid representing the national team in the recent World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
The quotes that Osimhen reacted to were later proven to be false.
George steps down after two games
Following their defeat in the final of AFCON in Ivory Coast, former Super Eagles boss, Jose Peseiro, stepped down from the post.
