The former Miss Croatia is in Germany to support Croatia in the European Championships, and she watched on as her country was thumped 3-0 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

The defeat does not seem to bother Knoll, however, and the model took to Instagram to share her optimism about her country.

Notably, she used Argentina as an example of how a nation can bounce back from an opening defeat to go all the way in a tournament.

“No stress,” she wrote on Instagram. “Argentina lost the first game against Saudi Arabia and in the end, they were World Champions.”

The former Miss Croatia shot to fame during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after she went viral online for her daring and revealing choice of outfits.

Croatia had an impressive run in Qatar as they went all the way to the World Cup semi-final, only to get knocked out by eventual winners Argentina.

Croatia’s prolonged stay at the World Cup enabled Knoll to maximise on her sultry antics from the stands. At the time of publication of this article, the 31-year-old has more than three million followers on Instagram.

Croatia’s next game is a must-win clash against Albania on Wednesday, June 19. If Zlatko Dalic’s side gets all three points, it would make their final group game against Italy more interesting.

Meanwhile, Dalic conceded defeat against Spain, admitting his side was simply not good enough on Saturday.

"I don't know how many Croatia supporters were here today. I apologise for this bad show today... It was amazing how many of them travelled here and my message is that I apologise to them,” he said, per The Mirror.
