Details have emerged on the transfer plans Thomas Tuchel tabled for Manchester United during talks to have him replace Erik ten Hag.
The immediate former Bayern Munich boss is understood to have been among the top favourites to succeed the Dutch manager at Old Trafford.
According to Metro UK, Tuchel met with United co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, in Monaco to discuss the prospect of becoming the next manager at the Theatre of Dreams.
The German had been touted as one of the candidates for the role after it became apparent that the Red Devils were likely to get rid of ten Hag.

Despite helping them win the FA Cup, the Dutchman led the Manchester club to one of their worst finishes in the Premier League after they secured an eighth-place spot with just 60 points.

Whereas United have since cooled their interest in Tuchel, the tactician's transfer plans for United have been made public.
According to reports, the former Paris Saint-Germain boss urged the Premier League club to sign Antonio Rudiger from Real Madrid.
Rudiger, who was a key member of Tuchel's team at Stamford Bridge, recently won the UEFA Champions League with the Spanish giants.
However, that now seems unlikely, with the 50-year-old now out of the running to join United, per The Times.
