Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace as Portugal wrapped up their preparations for the soon-to-start 2024 UEFA European Championship with a decisive victory against Ireland on Tuesday night.

The veteran forward turned back the clock with two spectacular goals, leading the Selecao to a 3-0 win after their 2-1 loss to Croatia in the previous match.

The 39-year-old silenced his critics with a stunning long-range strike, doubling the home side's lead in the process before a clinical finish from close range put an exclamation mark on Roberto Martinez's side's win, Eurosport reports.

The Al-Nassr star related easily with the girl, escorting her onto the field while his teammates accompanied their pre-match companions.
