Among them are FAR Rabat manager, Nasreddine Nabi, and, Mosimane, who previously coached Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Premiership.

Speaking about the vacancy, Jingles refused to rule himself out of the running but added that he hadn’t heard anything from his management team, so Sowetan LIVE noted.

“I have not heard anything from the office (MT Sports). But also, I don’t want to come across as if I’m throwing the club under the bus,” he said.

He also explained that when he takes on a job, he needed to know the club’s vision before accepting.

“Taking any job requires a lot of details, like what are they trying to achieve? How are they going to turn things around? What sort of investment will be made, and for how long?”

Pitso becomes free agent after relegation

Mosimane is no stranger to competing in the DStv Premiership, having won it four times before with Sundowns.

The South African tactician has been coaching in Saudi Arabia recently, but he left the Middle Eastern nation after his previous team suffered relegation.

iDiskiTimes reported that Mosimane’s Abha Club were relegated after they were beaten by an already-relegated Al Hazem in the final game of the season.

Mosimane, who was brought in to save the side from relegation, left after his contract expired.

Mosimane faces competition from Nabi for post

While many fans hope the Glamour Boys will sign the former Al Ahly boss, he faces competition from Nabi for the post.

Recent reports indicate that the Tunisian is favourite for the job, and could be announced once the season ends in Morocco.

How Chiefs can sign Mosimane

Sport Briefs previously reported how Chiefs could land the signing of Mosimane as their new head coach.

The South African tactician has been linked with the vacant post since leaving Abha Club in Saudi Arabia.

Amakhosi supporters have also urged Jingles to return home and asked their club to secure his signature.
