Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has ended one of the football fans' most fiery debates on social media involving Chelsea legend Eden Hazard and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
Hazard spent seven years at Stamford Bridge and made himself a fan favourite. He was arguably the Premier League’s best player at that time before leaving for Real Madrid.
Salah could not break in at Chelsea and left for AS Roma before returning to the English top-flight with Liverpool, where he has become one of the all-time greats.

As seen in a video circulating on social media, Scholes discussed the topic with the Ninety Plus Uno podcast about who he thinks is the better player of the two.
“That's tough because Liverpool had a few that were good at that time, Salah had Mane and Firmino with him. Hazard in that Chelsea team made a total difference to that team,” he said.
“I remember the FA Cup final against Manchester United, he scored a penalty to win it 1-0. He was the difference between the teams.
“So, I think just because Liverpool had a few other good players as well, I think Hazard in that Chelsea team made them better; he was the better team player.''

Sports Brief previously reported that former Chelsea director Michael Emenalo is not ruling Salah out of a future move to the Saudi Pro League after unsuccessful previous attempts.
Al-Ittihad reportedly had an offer of £150 million rejected for the former Basel man, but Emenalo claimed the door of the league is open to any player, including Salah.
