In his pre-match briefing, captured by Score Nigeria, the veteran manager highlighted who he considers Nigeria's most dangerous player.

Broos names Nigeria's most dangerous player

Speaking to the press, the former Cameroon coach when quizzed about the Nigerian forward, he is most wary of responded,

"Obviously, the danger man is Ademola Lookman, but we are not focusing on that. We are focusing on our game. We have the ability, and we have proven that at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire."

The 72-year-old also addressed the absence of Victor Osimhen, emphasising that the forward's injury is more of a concern for Nigeria's coach, Finidi George, than for his own team.

Both African football powerhouses will clash at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Broos' last visit as a manager to this famous stadium ended in a four-nil defeat for his then Cameroon side, according to data from Fotmob.

Finidi speaks ahead of Bafana clash

Sports Brief in another report stated coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Finidi, has spoken ahead of the clash against South Africa.

The former Enyimba gaffer took to social media to share a four-word statement ahead of what would be his first match as permanent coach of the Nigerian team.

Finidi previously served as assistant to former manager, Jose Peseiro.
