Arsenal star Declan Rice has opened up on his ambitions for the 2024 European Championship in Germany and why England must go all the way and win it.

The Three Lions were beaten finalists at the last edition, losing the finals on penalties to Italy after a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes at their national stadium, Wembley, in 2021.

Rice expectedly made the final list and will be one of the first names in the starting XI where England are drawn in Group C alongside Slovenia, Denmark and Serbia.

England have never won a major tournament since winning the 1966 FIFA World Cup on home soil. They came agonisingly close in 2021 to winning the Euro with the mantra “It's coming home.”

Rice has explained why going one step better than the last edition will be good for the country, particularly for him after his season with Arsenal.
