In his first game since signing for Real Madrid, Mbappe was expected to demonstrate why he is rated as one of the best players in the world.

He did not disappoint, running the show in his favourite left flank position, terrorising the Luxembroug defence with his searing pace and quick feet, per Eurosport.

Mbappe produces sublime assist in France friendly

Despite his eye-catching trickery, Mbappe failed to find the back of the net. Nonetheless, the former Paris Saint-Germain stalwart was in the thick of affairs as Didier Deschamps' men finally broke the deadlock.

In one of his rampaging runs on the left flank, the French superstar skipped past two of his markers with his quick feet before clipping a well-timed cross into the box.

His now ex-PSG teammate, Kolo Muani, made no mistake to nod home from close range in the 43rd minute, as noted by Sportstar.
