The attacking midfielder, who started his career in Europe with Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland, has seen a fast rise in his career in the last few years. At 23, Kudus has already represented Ghana at two major competitions, the Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA World Cup.

Kudus shares best football moment

However, his best moment in football was winning his first league title with Ajax Amsterdam under current Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

"Winning the Eredivisie in Amsterdam for the first time in 2021 was very special. We played to win trophies with Ajax, so to do so was a good memory for me. I was only young and that was the first trophy I won, so it was special," he told West Ham United's official website.

The versatile playmaker's transition from the Dutch league to the English Premier League was seamlessly smooth, as he hit the ground running in his first campaign with 14 goals and six assists across all competitions, per Transfermarkt.

"You have literally everything here… the best restaurants. My favourite one is a Ghanaian one called Kate’s Café which is not too far from here in Plaistow," added the Ghanaian.

Kudus is currently with the Black Stars team in Bamako for the World Cup qualifiers against Mali on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Kudus wins Goal of the Season

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mohammed Kudus has won the Europa League Goal of the Season following votes by fans of the European competition.

The Ghana international scored an amazing solo goal in the round of 16 of the Europa League against German outfit Freiburg, the first of his two goals in the 5-0 thrashing of the Bundesliga side.

Kudus picked the ball from his own half before powering his way past three defenders and finishing with his weaker foot.
