The Frenchman's move came only days after he announced that he would be departing Paris Saint-Germain upon the expiry of his contract with the club.

It is understood that the former Monaco star penned a five-year contract with the reigning European champions worth a massive £12.8 million per season.

The deal makes Mbappe the highest-paid player at the Bernabeu, ahead of top stars like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.
