Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has claimed the club is already setting its sights on next season's Champions League, following their recent victory on Saturday, June 1.

Los Blancos ended an impressive campaign by securing the Champions League title at Wembley Stadium.

Carlo Ancelotti's side navigated a challenging route to the final, overcoming RB Leipzig, defending champions Manchester City, and Bayern Munich on their way to glory.

The Spanish giants edged Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the final, with the opening goal coming from Dani Carvajal, who skillfully looped the ball over the goalkeeper after connecting Toni Kroos' corner.

Vinicius Junior, continuing his stellar season, sealed the win with a goal in the 83rd minute, assisted by Jude Bellingham.

As reported by CNN, this triumph marked Real Madrid's record-extending 15th European title.

Florentino Perez eyes another UCL win

Speaking after the match, Real Madrid boss Perez said that the club is already focused on the next one.

“This is the starting point to win the 16th, this is the history of Madrid," Perez tol Diario AS via Tribuna. The fans are very satisfied with what we achieved, and how we achieved it."

The Spanish businessman emphasised that winning the Champions League is no easy feat but highlighted the deep-rooted connection that drives Real Madrid's relentless pursuit of triumph in the competition.

“Winning the Champions League is not easy. There is a love story that everyone knows between our club and the competition. The players are motivated, they grow... We are worthy holders of the 15th.
