Mikel Arteta's squad faced an uphill battle, needing both a win against Everton at the Emirates and a miraculous upset by West Ham against Man City at the Etihad Stadium.

Arsenal did their part, rallying from a goal down to defeat Everton, with Havertz netting the crucial match-winning goal, per Livescore.

However, their hopes were dashed as West Ham fell short against City, despite Mohammed Kudus's sensational bicycle kick goal.

City's victory secured their unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title and their sixth league crown in seven seasons, underscoring their dominance in English football.

While Manchester celebrated, North London was cloaked in disappointment as Arsenal endured the agony of yet another near miss.

For Havertz, the pain was palpable. He fought back tears as he reflected on the season's end and the missed opportunity to clinch the title.

Despite the disappointment, the 24-year-old emphasised the personal growth he has experienced since joining Arsenal last summer.

"Where do I start? My first season has been one which has helped me grow as a person and a player in many ways," he wrote on the X App.

He also made sure to commend the fans, staff, and teammates for their support and contributions.

"Very grateful for all the support this season, from fans, staff and my teammates.

The former Chelsea forward was candid about his disappointment in losing the title but remained optimistic about the future ahead.

"It’ll take time to process everything but I know with this club we can achieve big things.
