Carlo Ancelotti has added yet another trophy to his already decorative curriculum vitae.

The veteran Italian coach led Real Madrid to another Champions League crown on Saturday night, June 1, as they edged Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley Stadium.

Dortmund dominated the early exchanges of the encounter but failed to make their golden chances count, with Niclas Fullkrug and Karim Adeyemi fluffing their opportunities.

Real hit back in the second, with two quick-fire goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr getting the job done.

According to GiveMeSport, Los Blancos' victory took Ancelotti's trophy tally to 29 since he became manager.

Incredibly, the 64-year-old has won silverware in each of the top five European leagues that he has managed.

What's more? He has also now won the Champions League on five occasions, including two times with AC Milan.

Which managers have won the most trophies?

Despite Ancelotti's success, he is still trailing Sir Alex Ferguson by 20 titles.

The former Manchester United boss remains the most successful manager in football history, more than a decade after he ended his incredible managerial career.

Fergie won an impressive 49 trophies between 1974 to 2013, with much of that success coming during his time at Old Trafford.

According to All Football, the Scotsman also holds the record for the most Premier League titles, having lifted the crown 13 times at the Theatre of Dreams.

However, SAF's extensive trophy haul did not begin at United.

The retired boss won his first crown with St. Mirren in 1977 before he lifted the Scottish Premier Division title in his second season with Aberdeen.

Elsewhere, Pep Guardiola ranks second in the list of the most successful managers.

The Spaniard has won 39 trophies in his career, with his latest triumph coming recently when he helped Manchester City retain the Premier League title.

Pep had an opportunity to take his tally to 40 trophies but lost the FA Cup final to rivals Manchester United at Wembley.
