American music and business mogul, Jay Z, was at Wembley to support Roc Nation athlete, Vinicius Jr in the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

Vinicius Jr scored as Los Blancos defeated the German Bundesliga side to win the competition for a record fifteenth time.

The Brazilian is represented by the American Sports Company owned by the rapper, who also has several other athletes including Romelu Lukaku on his roster.

In a video shared on social media, Vinicius Jr quickly runs to hug Jay Z, who was there to encourage him on the biggest night of European football.

The European giants ended up winning the title after second-half goals from Dani Carvajal and the Brazilian winger.

Dortmund had early chances in the first half to take the lead through Karim Adeyemi and Niklas Fullkrug but both players sent their efforts wide.

Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr will now add the UEFA Champions League title to the La Liga trophy won earlier this season. He scored five goals and delivered five assists in 9 games in the UCL this season, per Transfermarkt.

Jay Z to watch UCL final

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that American rapper Jay-Z would grace the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday, June 1, for a valid reason.

The 54-year-old, who doubles up as a business mogul, is the CEO of Roc Nation, a body that represents a number of sports stars across various disciplines.

One notable name working with Roc Nation is Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior.

Real Madrid beat Dortmund to win UCL

Sports Brief also reported that Real Madrid withstood a Borussia Dortmund barrage to win the Champions League for the 15th time as Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior struck late in a 2-0 win at Wembley on Saturday.

Right-back Carvajal headed in from Toni Kroos' corner on 74 minutes before Vinicius fired into the far corner to extend the Spanish giants' record as the most successful club in Champions League history.

Madrid have now won their last nine European Cup finals and won the competition six times in the last 11 seasons.
