Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly opting for Tunisian manager Nasreddine Nabi as their new coach and could drop interest in Pitso Mosimane and Alexandre Santos.

The Soweto Giants have been in the news due to their continuous search for a new head coach, being linked with various figures since Molefi Ntseki's departure last year.

The Glamour Boys ended their 2023-24 DStv Premiership campaign on a disappointing note, losing to Cape Town Spurs in the final game of the season.

With fans clamouring for changes as the club seeks to rebuild after yet another season without silverware, things have taken an interesting turn regarding management.

According to a report by the South African, per Kick Off, Kaizer Chiefs are said to be close to reaching an agreement with Nabi over a potential move to the PSL side.

The Tunisian tactician is said to be in discussion with club's board, after initial talks earlier this season fell through, allegedly due to the coach's demands of bringing in his own technical team.

There is yet to be an update on talks with Mosimane and Santos, which means Chiefs could be pitching their tent with the former Young Africans coach.

Nabi is currently doing an excellent job with ASFAR Rabat in the Moroccan league. The club are top of the Botola Pro League table with 67 points, one ahead of second-placed Raja Casablanca.

Spurs place R6m fee on Chiefs target

Sports Brief also previously reported on Cape Town Spurs placing a R6 million price tag on Rushwin Dortley, a Kaizer Chiefs transfer target.

The Glamour Boys will face stiff competition from other teams showing interest in the South African defender but could still win the race.

The R6 million price tag the Urban Warriors have placed on Dortley is said by many to be a fair price, as the defender is versatile and young.
