Some Egyptians aren’t happy with Salah
Some may be surprised by the Liverpool star’s inclusion, as they weren’t happy with him after his last appearance.
The National News reported in January that fans were upset with the attacker after he left the squad during the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Salah picked up a hamstring injury during a game against Ghana, and opted to leave the squad and return to England for treatment.
Egyptian legend Mido also shared fans’ frustration as he took aim at Salah and Jurgen Klopp over the Egyptian attacker’s departure.
As noted by GOAL, Mido was not only unhappy with Salah leaving, he was also annoyed with Klopp’s comments that the winger would receive ‘proper treatment’ at Anfield.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player took to social media to make a jibe about the treatment Salah was receiving.
“Oh, these exercises are so dirty and rigid, it is difficult to do them except in Liverpool,” his post read.

FootballSalah hints at Liverpool stay
Sports Brief reported how Salah promised Liverpool fans that the club would win more trophies next season.
Liverpool was on course to win a quadruple, but their season fell apart, and they only ended up with the Carabao Cup.
His comments also reassured fans that Salah wanted to stay at the Reds and not go to Saudi Arabia as many feared.
