Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has sparked transfer speculation after hinting at the possibility of leaving his current club, Chippa United, in search of a "bigger" challenge.
Nwabali, who burst onto the scene with his impressive performances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has become a sought-after talent in the football world.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper's standout displays, which included four clean sheets and two penalty saves in the quarter-finals, have caught the attention of several clubs both domestically and abroad.
"Like everyone in my position, I would like to grow more. I'm talking about clubs higher than this because I have been giving my all to my club this season. I wish to have another challenge at some other place," Nwabali said following the Chilli Boys' final game of the season, as reported by Daily Post.

The Nigerian's comments have fueled speculation about his future, with reports linking him to various clubs, including Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq, English Championship club Queens Park Rangers, and South African powerhouse Kaizer Chiefs. However, the latter's interest appears to have waned due to the hefty price tag.
According to a report by Soccernet, Chippa placed a transfer fee in the region of £1.3 million (₦2.245 billion) on the goalkeeper, a figure that may deter some potential suitors. The club's CEO, Siviwe Mpengesi, confirmed that they are in discussions with other clubs regarding Nwabali's future, as the shot-stopper has indicated he will not be renewing his contract this summer.
