Early into the season, the Glamour Boys sacked Molefi Ntseki and replaced him with Cavin Johnson, who took over as the interim coach.

Despite signing nine players last summer, Chiefs failed to make the DStv Premiership's top eight, ruling them out of the MTN 8 tournament next season.

Kaizer Chiefs are linked with top coaches like Pitso Mosimane, Jose Peseiro, and Alexandre Santos but still have not determined their best option.

The Soweto Giants' fans are also eager to find out who will be their beloved team's next coach for the new season.

Mosimane is currently with Abha Club and is now back on the market after his team was relegated from the Saudi Pro League on Monday, May 27.

According to a Soccer Laduma source, the club are meeting some of the coaches and are expected to make an announcement before the pre-season kicks off in July. The source added.

"To tell you the truth, there are many meetings going on now at the club concerning the coaches. But the latest is that the likelihood of Pitso Mosimane and Alexandre Santos will be one of the coaches."

Sports Brief previously reported on Pitso Mosimane confirming his departure from Abha Club after a final-day loss sealed their relegation from the Saudi Pro League.

The South African coach was appointed to keep the Leaders of the South in the top flight league in January but failed to meet his target after a 2-1 loss against Al-Hazm.
