Sofyan Amrabat has addressed his Manchester United future following their FA Cup triumph.

The Moroccan was part of the United squad which edged rivals Manchester City to lift the domestic trophy.

Goals from Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho were all the Red Devils needed to wrap up their season with silverware, with Jeremy Doku netting City's consolation.

According to Metro UK, Amrabat was back to his familiar position in central midfield and gave an impressive and combative display to keep City at bay during the weekend clash.

So amazing the Morocco international was that United legend Paul Scholes likened him to prim Gennaro Gattuso.

However, despite his encouraging display, reports claim United are unlikely to trigger his £21million buy option this summer.

But while addressing his future at Old Trafford, the midfielder admitted he was keen to remain at the club beyond his loan.

The 27-year-old disclosed that he will be speaking to United about his future in the coming days and weeks.

"Do I already know what I’m going to do next year? No. We are going to talk," Amrabat told Ziggo Sport.
"Staying is certainly an option. Look, I think it has been a very difficult season. For Manchester United, it needs to be much better, and also for me personally," he added.

Amrabat joined United on loan in the summer of 2023 from Fiorentina.

The midfielder played a key role in Morocco's run to the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
