DNA Scandal: Kayode Olanrewaju Releases Statement, Lawyer Serves Estranged Wife Dora Ezinne

Nigerian international, Kayode Olanrewaju, has fired back at his wife, who is embroiled in an alleged DNA scandal.

Social media was abuzz with reports that the former Shakhtar Donetsk striker claimed that DNA tests showed that his three children belonged to one pastor, Tobi Adegboyega.

His estranged wife, Dora Ezinne, through her lawyers, demanded an immediate retraction of the allegations from her footballer husband.

She charged that her silence should not be taken for granted, further warning the Super Eagles to desist from dragging their children into the drama.

Dora urged Olanrewaju to provide the purported DNA to the public and the hospital where the alleged test was conducted. She added via Vanguard:

"I have never sold any of my properties or cars and given the proceeds to any Pastor, Bishop or Imam in this world.

"In fact, all the rumours this mentally disturbed young man, Kayode is sharing online are all false."

Meanwhile, Kayode, who last played for Turkish club Genclerbirligi, has claimed that Ezinne is trying to change the narrative in the media.

The 31-year-old footballer added that the world will know all that had transpired in their marriage at the appropriate time.

He wrote:

"The truth will always be constant; your plot with your PR team to manipulatively change the narrative was revealed to me before hand.

"At the appropriate time, the world will know how much evil you perpetrated to the institution of marriage and creating a story around DNA as you all planned will not save the day for you."
