Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has praised Morocco midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat, after his solid performance in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
The Fiorentina loanee produced a strong defensive display to nullify the threats of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne as the Red Devils defeated their neighbours 2-1 to win the FA Cup.
Goals from teen stars Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo in the first half were enough for the English giants to deny Pep Guardiola and his team the double.
Despite the heroics of the youngsters, Scholes was particularly impressed by the performance of the Moroccan midfielder, comparing him to AC Milan legend, Gennaro Gattuso.

"Like prime Gattuso today," he wrote with the photo of Amrabat on his Instagram Story.
Amrabat could leave Manchester United after playing his last game for the club in the FA Cup unless the English outfit decides to trigger his buy option.
During his time on loan, the Fiorentina-owned player made 30 appearances across all competitions, per Transfermarkt.
The 27-year-old is expected to join his Morocco teammates for the World Cup qualifiers against Zambia and Congo in June.
African trio win FA Cup with Man United
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Amad Diallo, Andre Onana and Amrabat have won the FA Cup with Manchester United after the victory over Manchester City.
Amrabat and Onana featured in the final at Wembley while Diallo, who was the hero in the quarter-final against Liverpool, watched from the stands.

Ten Hag's Man United upset Man City
Sports Brief also reported that Erik ten Hag made a convincing case to be spared the sack as Manchester United upset Manchester City to take the FA Cup with a shock 2-1 victory in Saturday's final.
Ten Hag was reportedly set to be dismissed regardless of the result at Wembley after a troubled campaign that even the United manager described as "terrible" this week.
But United's hierarchy might be having second thoughts after Ten Hag's tactical masterclass ruined City's history bid.
