Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface, has reacted to the UEFA Europa League final defeat to Atalanta on Wednesday, May 22, in Dublin.
The 23-year-old Nigerian forward climbed off the bench in the second half but it was his compatriot Ademola Lookman who stole the show.
Lookman's hat-trick was enough to hand the Bergamo-based club their first-ever European silverware.
Despite the disappointment, Boniface is already looking forward to the final of the DFB Pokal on Saturday against Kaiserslautern.
