Arsenal goalkeeper, Authur Okonkwo, is still undecided about his international future but has left the door open to represent the Super Eagles sometime in the future.
The 22-year-old, who was born in London to Nigerian parents, is eligible to play for England or Nigeria at international level should the opportunity arise in the future.
According to Complete Sports, Okonkwo, who spent last season at English Football League side Wrexham, disclosed he is still ambitious to play at international level but has not made his choice on who to represent yet.
“I’m still really ambitious to play at the international level. I can still play for England or Nigeria, and I’ve not made a choice yet.”

Okonkwo was voted as the best goalkeeper in the 2023/24 season in the English Football League after keeping 14 clean sheets in 36 appearances, helping Wrexham secure promotion this season.
Okonkwo set to leave Arsenal
Meanwhile, Okonkwo is reportedly set to leave Arsenal as a free agent this summer despite the 22-year-old’s heroics in goal for Wrexham in League Two this season, Just Arsenal reports.
The Gunners are not keen to keep the London-born goalkeeper as a second choice at the Emirates next season and will let him leave for free when his contract with the club expires at the end of the season.
Okonkwo is not short on offers as Wrexham are keen to retain the ex-Arsenal goalkeeper ahead of next season, while some League One clubs have also indicated an interest in signing the shot-stopper when the transfer window opens.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Okonkwo is eligible to play for the Super Eagles after FIFA reportedly granted his nationality change from England to Nigeria.
The 22-year-old goalie, now on loan at Wrexham, a lower-division club, could play for the Nigerian national team or Olympic Eagles.
Born in London to Nigerian parents, the former Sturm Graz goalkeeper represented England at several junior levels, including the U-16, U-17, and U-18 sides.
