Mohamed Salah has promised Liverpool fans more trophies next season after a disastrous end to their 2023/24 campaign that saw the Reds end up with just the Carabao Cup.

The Reds were on course for a quadruple this season after winning the League Cup in February, but were bundled out of the Europa League and FA Cup before slipping out of the Premier League title race with just five games to go.

According to Complete Sports, Salah posted an assurance to Liverpool fans via social media, saying they would do everything to win trophies next season as he outlined how important this was for the prestigious English club.

"We know that trophies are what count and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell."

Salah is likely to lead Liverpool's assault next season under new manager, Arne Slot, who has succeeded club veteran, Jurgen Klopp, who departed after seven years in charge.

Salah drops hint on Liverpool future

Meanwhile, Salah’s latest statement has calmed tensions surrounding his future at Liverpool as the Egyptian forward is expected to stay for one more at Anfield, Daily Mirror reports.

The Egyptian winger has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with the Reds turning down a reported £150 million offer from Saudi Pro League side, Al-Ittihad, last summer.

However, Salah, who has one more year left on his Liverpool contract, seems to be focused on next season and has promised to deliver more silverware to the club in his message to Reds fans.

Salah honours Klopp with tribute

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Salah paid a touching tribute to Klopp, who has left Liverpool after seven successful years with the Anfield team.

The German tactician brought success to the Merseyside club after years of struggle and also signed the Egyptian ace in his first season in charge.

The two had a falling out a few weeks ago, which threatened to derail Klopp's final few days at the club, but it seemed those issues were resolved.
