Since then, they have tightened their grip on the Premier League title and will be looking to make it five in a row next season.

The Gunners have challenged Man City in the last two seasons but haven't stopped Guardiola's juggernaut.

"Let them chase Pep Guardiola out of the Premier League. He's a cheat. From 2018 to 2019, Liverpool came in second with 97 points, and Guardiola won the league with 98 points. In 2020/21, Liverpool had 92 points, and Guardiola won the league with 93 points. Last season, Arsenal got 84 points, and Guardiola won the league with 88 points.

"Chase this man from the league, we don't need him anymore," he added.

The Gunners will try again next season, but they'll need to be almost perfect.

Arteta's promise to Arsenal

After Man City were confirmed as champions, Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, promised Gunners fans that they will attempt to win the title again next season, as Sports Brief earlier reported.

Arteta and Arsenal players were emotional when the season ended. They have not won any trophies in the last two seasons.
