Arsenal icon Thierry Henry has made his prediction for the final day of the Premier League season.

The 2023/24 English top-flight campaign is set to conclude on Sunday, May 19.

All the focus will undoubtedly be on the title race, which will be settled after the final round of fixtures.

The race is pitting the Gunners, who are keen to end their 20-year wait for the crown, against City, who are dreaming of a fourth consecutive historic title.

According to Metro UK, only two points are separating the two English giants ahead of the final round of fixtures, with City having the edge over Mikel Arteta's charges.

The Citizens are scheduled to face West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium in their final game as the Gunners entertain Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

Henry makes EPL final-day title prediction

Discussing the title race ahead of the final day, Henry backed City to see off the Hammers and make Premier League history.

However, he was quick to note that he is praying for City's slip up to give Arsenal the advantage of being crowned champions.

"It’s them, I’ve seen them doing it so many times to the [Sergio] Aguero moment, to the Tottenham game the other day to whatever," he told BBC Sport.
"I’ve seen them not collapsing so it bothers me to think that they will. But the fan on the other side, the fan on the other side is like, “Hey listen, you never know what can happen." Henry continued.

Arsenal mocked for celebration rehearsals

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Arsenal finding themselves on the receiving end after a clip surfaced of the club rehearsing Premier League trophy presentation at the Emirates.

While they stand a chance of lifting the crown under Arteta for the first time in two decades, City have a significant edge over them in the title race.
