Kaizer Chiefs interim manager, Cavin Johnson, has shared his thoughts on Itumeleng Khune's farewell in the Amakhosi goalless draw against Polokwane City.
The Glamour Boys missed the chance to go three points clear of Polokwane City as they drew in their final home game at the FNB Stadium.
Another major event at the Naturena was Kaizer Chiefs honouring Khune for his 25 years of service at the club.
In a post-match interview, Johnson reflected on Khune's beautiful years at the club and appreciated him for all he's done for the Soweto giants.

"We have to give thanks to Itu for serving this team for such great years. He did a lot for the team, so we are just honouring him, but as the coach who leads the team now and some of the players, we feel honoured to be in his presence," he said.
The South African manager also didn't like how his team played and would have preferred to win on Khune's final home game for Amakhosi, according to a report by iDiskiTimes.
"We wish him all the best and hope he gets honoured with more of these accolades, but in saying that, we didn't play like we wanted to play today. I thought we started very, very slow. We came out of the blocks looking very lethargic," he added.
