With his contract expiring at the end of June, impressive midfielder Mohamed Elneny has announced that he will leave Arsenal this summer.
The Egyptian international is the longest-standing player at the club, having joined in 2016 under former manager Arsene Wenger.
He moved to the English club from Swiss side FC Basel and has played under three managers at the London club, including Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta.
On Friday, the 31-year-old confirmed that his time with the Gunners had ended, and he hoped to continue his professional career elsewhere, Tribal Football reports.

In a chat with TribalFootball, Elneny stated that he will continue to support the Gunners. Elneny said in a video posted on X on Friday.
"Gooners, I'm here today to send you a message, to say goodbye and thank you for everything you've done for me,"

In his nine seasons at Arsenal, Elneny has so far made 161 appearances in all competitions, scoring 6 goals.
