Jurgen Klopp’s final stance on viral spat with Mohamed Salah
FootballOn social media, there was a fierce debate about Son’s miss earlier in the game.
Sections of fans were adamant the South Korean had missed his chance on purpose in order to deal Spurs’ North London rivals Arsenal a blow in the title race.
Despite the criticism, Son took responsibility for the miss, telling the Evening Standard:
"I'm also human. The keeper made a really good decision and made himself really big. But I take the responsibility not to score that big chance for the team, because the team was working really hard and trying to get a good result."
The forward also backed Spurs boss, Ange Postecoglou, as the right man for the job, despite a sensational dip in form by the North Londoners.
"I know it's early to say, but we've got to do so much better for next season, because I still believe he can bring so much success to the club. I'm all in. I'm loving the way he wants to play. It's the first time I've experienced it."

FootballSince the departure of Harry Kane, who joined Bayern Munich, Son has been forced to take up the mantle as Tottenham’s main man up front.
He has been crucial for Postecoglou’s team this season, bagging an impressive 17 goals and nine assists across all competitions, per Transfermarkt.
The South Korean star's tally could go up on the final day of the Premier League season, when Tottenham host the already-relegated Sheffield United.
Sports Brief also previously reported on an incident where Ange Postecoglou confronted a Tottenham fan after the loss to City.
A video of the incident showed the Spurs boss pointing at a fan in the stands, before saying, 'I just want to know who you are'.
The Australian was frustrated for large parts of the game on Tuesday as some Spurs fans were openly supporting the Citizens.
