Pitso Mosimane's wife and agent, Moira Tlhagale, disclosed the awkward place her husband signed his first contract with Premier Soccer League side, Mamelodi Sundowns.

The South African tactician worked as Masandawana coach for eight seasons, leading them to PSL five titles, two Nedbank Cups, and one CAF Champions League trophy.

Mosimane resigned from his post as Sundowns' boss in September 2020 and joined Al Ahly in Egypt the same month.

Mosimane and Sundowns are currently in court over an R8.6 million commission fee, which the club has demanded from their former coach for not honouring the four-year deal he signed in 2020.

Tlhagale, whose agency MT Sports and Marketing represents Jingles, testified in court that the Brazilians never paid her agency a commission fee for the two contracts her husband signed with them.

Mosimane signed his first contract in 2012, with the second one being a contract extension in 2016, according to a report by the South African.

In her testimony, Tlhagale claimed that her husband was eager to return to the dugout, which is why he was pressured to accept 'unreasonable' terms with Sundowns.

"The night before the coach's appointment, there was so much back-and-forth until the president [Patrice Motsepe] called the coach to say that he wanted him to start the job instantly because the agents and the board were trying to confuse their relationship," she said.

Tlhagale disclosed that the former Al Ahly signed his first contract with Sundonws in a hospital parking lot, without her lawyers being present to monitor the situation.

"Coach Pitso's first contract was signed there at a parking lot without any of my lawyers or any of the changes that were required to be made, but because my coach wanted to coach, he said he would sign the contract," she added.

Domestic staff files lawsuit against Mosimane

Sports Brief also previously reported that Mosimane has been sued for millions by his former domestic worker following a severe injury sustained while on duty.

Dorothy Sikirivao filed a lawsuit in the Johannesburg High Court, demanding redress, claiming Tlhagale had initially paid her medical bills but then stopped payment.
