Acknowledging the award's significance, she humbly thanked UNFP for acknowledging her dedication and performance during the campaign.

"I'm incredibly grateful and humbled by this award. Thank you for recognising my efforts, Paris FC, the president, the entire team staff, the fans, and my wonderful teammates. Your belief in me and my work is a tremendous source of motivation," she posted on X (formerly Twitter).

The 23-year-old's heartfelt message resonated with her followers, reflecting her genuine appreciation for the recognition bestowed upon her.

Last month, as per Channels Television, Nnadozie emerged victorious in the D1 Arkema Awards, solidifying her status as the premier goalkeeper in the league.

Overcoming tough competition from Olympique Lyon's Christiane Endler and Paris Saint-Germain's Katarzyna Kiedryznek, she demonstrated her prowess between the posts, earning acclaim for her exceptional contributions to Paris FC.

Her stellar performances this season, comprising 18 appearances and numerous superb saves, underscored her unparalleled skill and resilience on the field.

As the first African goalkeeper to secure the esteemed honour, Nnadozie has not only shattered barriers but also served as an inspiration to aspiring athletes worldwide.
