The 2023/24 Premier League title race will go down to the final day, with Manchester City and Arsenal set to battle it out for this year’s English top-flight title on May 19.

1. 2009/10 - Man United needed Liverpool to beat/draw Chelsea

4. 1994/95 - Man United need Liverpool to beat Blackburn
The first time, the favour was done, but the club that needed it could not help themselves. United needed Northwest rivals Liverpool to beat Blackburn, and they did 2-1, but Ferguson’s side drew 1-1 against West Ham.
