Paris Saint-Germain's ultras honoured Kylian Mbappe on his final game for the club at the Parc des Princes despite the French star not receiving an official farewell.

The forward has been with the Parisians since completing a €180 million move from Monaco in 2017. Initially a loan move, the transfer was then made permanent.

After weeks of speculation, Mbappe announced via a video message on his social media handles that he would be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of the current season.

The French national team captain omitted club president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s name during his farewell speech, further fuelling speculation about the 'strained' nature of their relationship.

Mbappe captained the side and scored a goal within eight minutes of kick-off to give a parting gift to the fans and confirm his status as the Golden Boot winner for the sixth consecutive time.
