Brazil legend Ronaldinho joined the rest of the world to celebrate mothers on their special day.

The former Barcelona star, who lost his mother in 2021, took to social media to celebrate her with a memorable video.

The legendary footballer also took the opportunity to pay tribute to her while also sending a heartwarming message to mothers across the world.

Ronaldinho posted on X, former Twitter: "Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the world, in Brazil and RS! I know this is not an easy time, but we have to praise our warrior mothers, who bear all the pain, carry us for months, and give us love for life!!! I sincerely hope that this day is filled with love and hope, hope for a better world and better days. I love you, mom!!!"

The two-time Ballon d'Or winner and his mother shared good times together as she played a pivotal role in his career.

During his playing time, the ex-footballer enjoyed success at Barcelona, where he won multiple league titles and the UEFA Champions League. He was also a member of the Brazil team that won the 2002 FIFA World Cup, as reported by History of Soccer.
