Antonio Rudiger was in his eccentric element during Real Madrid’s celebrations after beating Bayern Munich 2-1 to reach the UEFA Champions League final.

The first leg at the Allianz Arena in Germany ended 2-2, and there was all to play for at the Santiago Bernabeu, where both sides took the game to each other.

Alphonso Davies gave Bayern the lead in the second half, but Madrid dramatically turned the tie around with two late goals from substitute striker Joselu.

The end to the game was as chaotic as it could get after the Germans thought they had scored an equaliser to send the game to extra time, but the flag was up despite Matthijs De Ligt being clearly onside.

Rudiger celebrates with Alaba’s chair

Rudiger assisted the winning goal after providing a brilliant cross for Joselu to knock it past Manuel Neuer, who had committed a blunder for the first goal.

The former Chelsea defender has a reputation for doing crazy things, and last night was not short of it during the celebrations around the Santiago Bernabeu pitch.

As caught on camera by CBS Sports Golazo, he brought out the famous white chair and handed it over to teammate David Alaba for the celebrations in front of the fans.

According to Goal, the Austrian defender first celebrated with the chair after Madrid beat Paris Saint-Germain in the 2021/22 UCL quarter-final. He admitted he hadn't thought about it, and the chair was just there.

In another video shared by Marca, Rudiger was seen rejoicing with the fans outside the stadium. The supporters blocked his car from moving, and they spent some time together.

The 14-time champions will play Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley Stadium on June 1 after the Bundesliga side knocked out PSG.

Rudiger cheekily punches Arda Guler

Sports Brief reported on Rudiger cheekily punching Arda Guler after the young attacker approached him after Real Madrid drew 2-2 with Bayern Munich in the semi-final first leg.

The defender has been credited for taking the youngster under his arms and helping him settle after enduring a difficult first few months riddled with injuries in Madrid.
