Arsenal's pursuit of a new centre forward has sparked intense speculation, with Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee emerging as a top target.
However, Arsenal insider, Charles Watts, believes the Gunners should set their sights higher and prioritize Newcastle United's Alexander Isak instead.
With the club eyeing reinforcements to bolster their attack, Zirkzee emerged as a prime target, commanding a potential £51m bid to fend off rival suitors, including Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus.
As per All Nigeria Soccer, Watts advocates for a recalibration of Mikel Arteta's transfer strategy, favouring the Swede over the Nigerian.

Watts underscores Isak's allure, highlighting the forward's impressive track record in the Premier League. He has scored 20 goals in 27 appearances, positioning himself as the third-highest scorer in the league.
In contrast, Zirkzee's Serie A exploits, with 11 goals to his name, are a pale comparison to the league's top marksman, Lautaro Martínez, who boasts 23 goals.
While acknowledging the Bologna man's promise, he contends that Arsenal's priorities should revolve around securing talent poised to make an immediate impact.
"I feel Arsenal are at a point now where any big-money signings really need to come in and improve the squad immediately, and I'm not sure Zirkzee does that. It would be a case of buying potential, and while there is always room for that, Arsenal really needs a forward who will come in and hit the ground running. That's why I still feel they should throw everything at getting Isak out of Newcastle," he said, as reported by CaughtOffside.
