Manchester United have reportedly been holding meetings with Jadon Sancho to discuss his future at Old Trafford.

The winger is currently on loan with Borussia Dortmund until the end of the ongoing season.

Sancho rejoined the Bundesliga giants temporarily during the January transfer window following his public spat with United boss, Erik ten Hag.

The duo differed in September 2023, with Sancho calling out the Dutchman on social media for criticising his performances during the training.

Having been frozen out of the first team, the row left the Englishman with no choice but to return to Dortmund until the summer.

Sancho has gone on to hit top form with the German side, playing a key part in their Champions League campaign, where they have one foot in the final of the tournament.

Sancho in talks with Man United chiefs

The Guardian reports that Sancho has held talks with United chiefs during his loan spell in Germany to resolve his seeming dispute with ten Hag.

According to the publication, John Murtough, the former football director at United, and Matt Hargreaves, the director of player negotiations, travelled to Dortmund for discussions with the player.

The development comes at a time when the England international is facing an uncertain future with the Red Devils.

It was recently reported that United are considering to ship out a significant number of their first-team players after a dismal campaign.

SPORTbible claimed only three players (Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo, and Alejandro Garnacho) are guaranteed a future at the Theatre of Dreams.

Sancho speaks on returning to Man United

Sports Brief also previously reported on Sancho speaking about his future following his performance in the Champions League on Wednesday, May 1.

The English winger, on loan from Man United, was the man of the moment as Borussia Dortmund silenced Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their semi-final.
