Chelsea have reportedly made first contact with Napoli for the services of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen ahead of a summer move.

The Nigerian international has been on Chelsea's radar since last summer, but they could not price him away from Napoli after leading them to their first Serie A title in over three decades.

The Blues are in dire need of a potent striker after struggling for most of the season in the goalscoring department. The London-based club have scored 65 goals in 34 league games and conceded 59.
