Cristiano Ronaldo's sister is in awe of Saudi Arabia in a key area, which probably explains why the Al-Nassr star settled well in the country.

Ronaldo joined the Saudi Pro League side after his contract at Manchester United was mutually terminated following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

His move influenced other top European stars to join the league, including former Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr., who joined champions-elect Al-Hilal.

Not all the players who moved have settled in well. Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has already returned to Europe, but Ronaldo appears not to have issues adapting.

Ronaldo's sister praises Saudi's safety

Katie Aveiro, the sister of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, has been enjoying her time in the Middle Eastern country since her brother moved in, and she has explained why.

Katie, as quoted by Arab News, posted a message on her Instagram story praising the country as the safest in the world.

“If there is a safe place to walk alone, it is here. Saudi Arabia is one of the best in the world in terms of safety. You can leave your phone on the table and go and come back without anything happening,” she said.
“Nobody disrespects you here, and there are no thefts,” she added.

According to Global Finance Magazine, Saudi Arabia is ranked the 19th safest country in the world, ahead of every country Ronaldo has played in, including his home country, Portugal.

Aveiro has been a vocal part of her brother's football journey. She has quickly shut down critics and was displeased at Lionel Messi winning the 2023 Ballon d'Or.

Ronaldo's sister aims swipe at Messi

Sports Brief previously reported on Ronaldo's sister aiming a swipe at Messi after the Argentina captain won the 2023 Ballon d'Or after winning the 2022 World Cup.

Aveiro commented on an Instagram post celebrating her brother's five Golden balls with “earned not given” to prove that the former Barcelona man's win was not legit in her opinion.
