Victor Boniface has received rare praise from German icon Rudi Voller for his contribution to Bayer Leverkusen’s success story after they clinched the Bundesliga title this season.
The 23-year-old Nigerian striker, who was voted as the Rookie of the Month for four consecutive months, has scored 11 goals in 20 Bundesliga appearances for Xabi Alonso’s team.
According to All Nigeria Soccer, Voller compared the present Bayer Leverkusen team to Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich while hailing Boniface as one of the superstars in the squad.
