A Borussia Dortmund account subtly hit out at Manchester United with a thinly-veiled dig over Jadon Sancho.
Sancho put up a masterful performance against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League semi-final first leg as Dortmund claimed a crucial 1-0 win at the Signa Iduna Park.
The winger was unplayable against the French giants, taking on defenders using exquisite dribbles. In the first 30 minutes of the game, Sancho had already completed seven dribbles.
Immediately after the game, Sancho was the number one topic on social media as football fans praised his performance.

On X, formerly Twitter, an account attached to Dortmund acknowledged the 24-year-old’s performance, albeit with a dig at Manchester United.
The account posted a photo of Sancho in Dortmund colours with the caption, "You all owe him an apology, we were always familiar with his game".
While the post did not directly mention United, fans immediately put the pieces together, considering how the winger was treated by Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Sancho’s fallout at Man United
Since signing for the Red Devils in 2021, Sancho became a shadow of his former self at the club, with things going from bad to worse under Erik ten Hag.
After a public falling out with the Dutchman, Sancho moved back to Dortmund on loan in January 2024 and has since experienced an impressive resurgence.
He has made 17 appearances for the German giants, scoring three goals, according to Transfermarkt.
