Bruno Fernandes has become the first Manchester United player to react to reports the club could sell nearly all the players this summer.

The Red Devils have endured a frustrating campaign this season, with the club set to miss out on Champions League football next season.

Erik ten Hag's men have only managed 16 wins in 34 Premier League outings, leaving them sitting sixth in the standings with 54 points.

To put their struggles into more perspective, United were unable to progress past the group stages of the Champions League in a pool that included Bayern Munich, Galatasaray, and FC Copenhagen.

They were also unable to defend the Carabao Cup, with the FA Cup representing their only chance to end the season with a trophy.

With their poor outing leaving them in danger of violating FFP guidelines, SPORTbible, citing The Telegraph's James Ducker recently claimed that United could consider listening to offers for almost their entire first-team squad.

The report claimed that only the trio of Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund are safe from the chopping board.

The Red Devils' skipper Fernandes has now broken his silence on reports that almost the entire squad is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford.

Speaking to DAZN Portugal via Sports Witness, the Portuguese midfield maestro suggested he is keen to continue at the club.

"I'm not thinking about other things [than the FA Cup and Euro 2024 with Portugal] at the moment," the United skipper said.

"Obviously, it doesn't just depend on me, does it? A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time you have to want him to stay.

"At the moment, I feel there's that on both sides," he added.
