Antonio Rudiger has drama up his sleeves every matchday, and this week, Arda Guler felt the sting after Real Madrid drew 2-2 away at Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

The two European heavyweights met at the Allianz Arena. After an interesting first leg in Germany, however, nothing could separate them going into a decisive second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Vinicius Jr’s brace helped the Spanish side walk out with something on either side of Leroy Sane’s first goal in six months and Harry Kane’s 43rd goal of the season.

Rudiger cheekily punches Guler

Rudiger played the entire match as the 14-time winners battled for a draw, while young attacker, Guler, like many times this season, remained an unused substitute.

As seen in footage on social media, the teenager approached the German defender for post-match formalities. After the two hugged, the defender punched the winger.

Meanwhile, the former Chelsea defender is notorious for his antics, from pinching a teammate and opponent to trying to scare a police officer; he has it all in his catalogue of crazy moments.

Per Tribuna, the two share a tough bond and the Turkish youngster is growing under the experienced defender as he undergoes a difficult start to his Madrid career, which has been blighted by injuries.

Guler has two goals this season, against Celta Vigo and Real Sociedad at the weekend, and Rudiger’s celebration for both proved that there is only love between him and the 19-year-old.

Real Madrid have all but wrapped up the La Liga title and head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has confirmed that the former Fenerbahce star will see more playing time going forward.

Rudiger bullies Guler in training

Sports Brief also previously reported on Rudiger bullying Guler in training during a session in Real Madrid’s pre-season tour of the United States last July.

The then-new attacker dribbled past the big defender but was ultimately chased down and stripped of the ball before the German cheekily pushed him away.
