Arsenal are ready to offload Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey as the Gunners prepare to shake up their midfield by letting go of older and unreliable players from their squad this summer.
The 30-year-old midfielder has only started six games for Mikel Arteta’s men this season after battling with numerous injuries which have kept him sidelined for most part this campaign.
According to Football Insider, Arsenal have set an asking price of between £20 million and £25 million to allow Partey to leave the Emirates this summer when the transfer window opens.
Arteta is looking to add some young players to his squad and the 30-year-old, who has just one year left on his Gunners contract, is among the players the club is willing to let go.

Partey has played a minimal role for Arsenal since the signing of English midfielder Declan Rice although the Ghanaian was praised optimally for his performance against Chelsea in the 5-0 demolition of their London rivals on Tuesday.
Arsenal target Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz
Meanwhile, Arsenal have identified Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz as the ideal replacement for Partey and would make a move for the Brazilian when the summer transfer opens, BBC reports.
Arteta could look to test Villa’s resolve with another bid for Luiz after failing twice in the past to sign the 26-year-old midfielder who is rated among the best in the Premier League.
Chelsea star tells club he wants to leave in the summer
FootballAston Villa could be forced to sell Luiz if their £100million price tag is met this summer although it is uncertain if Arsenal will be willing to pay that much for the Brazilian.
Arteta lavishes praise on Partey
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arteta praised the performance of Partey in Arsenal's 5-0 demolishing of Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Ghana international started his first Premier League game since returning from injury as the Gunners recorded an emphatic win and opened their lead at the top of the table to four points, with Manchester City having two games in hand.
Although Partey has battled injuries this season, his presence in Arsenal's midfield against Chelsea was largely felt as the North London club dominated their rivals.
